Cleaning paint brushes
This is the last time I have done this! Today I did two paint jobs, so I had to clean two brushes. The first one cost me a yellow top, I was very fond of. It is now covered with red dots. And the second brush cost me a table, that has now little pink stains all over the top.
Of course the kitchen sink was dirty as well,, so I had to clean that. And the turpentine I used is chemical waste, so I will have to take that to the dustman separately.
Paint brushes are not expensive! Just don’t buy the most expensive brushes, that is a waste. Use each brush for just one job and then throw it away! I think that is better for the environment, faster, easier and less risky.
If you intend to use the brush again with the same paint within a few days, it is very well possible to keep it useable by wrapping the hairs into a little piece of plastic foil…
