I have been looking around http://www.eveliensnel.com and really am impressed by the terrific content here. I work the nightshift at my job and it really gets boring. I’ve been coming here for the previous couple nights and reading. I simply wanted to let you know that I’ve been enjoying what I’ve seen and I look forward to reading more.

Hi James,
well, sort of. Elsewhere on my blog I have compared the effects of female hormones on a formerly-male person to the effects of taking LSD. You may definitely see colors brighter and also your sense of smell will be enhanced. So this is the way women perceive the world all the time.
It certainly resembles the effect of taking mushrooms…
I don’t remember any halucinations from fennel seeds or hormones, but if you are very sensitive to them it might happen. Or maybe the fact that you see the world in a different way may make you feel in a kind of “high” state, even if you don’t suddenly see pink elephants parading down the street

I drank fennel tea for the first time and loved the taste. I’ve had stomach issues for over a year and have heard wonderful things about this seed and its healing abilities.
After I finished the tea, I noticed the colors around me were much brighter. It was similar to a mushroom high! Bizarre!! I was experiencing a mild hallucination. It didn’t last very long, but was not at all what I was expecting.
Anyone else have this effect??

Thanks for your warm words Stacey. I guess it is much too late for your paper now, you probably posted your comment while I was in the hospital…
By now I am “up and running” again and I have not regretted my operation for one second yet.
